Planting Trees to Protect Our Water Resources in Spiritual Awakening Embracing Ecology

- Part of "The Spiritual Ecology" Series, authored by Master Hsin Tao

Spiritual ecology is also concerned with the protection of water resources. Mainly, it's about making sure there is enough clean water, and most importantly, allowing no contamination when protecting water resources.
A case in point would be tree-planting: when done properly, both trees and water resources benefit from the action. Inappropriate deforestation negatively impacts water resources as a matter of fact in plain sight.
Trees, soil, and stones form naturally structured water containers hidden from our sight. Instead of deconstructing such structures inadvertently or on purpose, we are best advised to let them be or even keep them protected and let nature take its course and the self-sufficient ecosystem run on its own.
